In December 2025, the National Energy Administration issued 211 million green certificates, involving 688,700 renewable energy generation projects, of which 150 million were tradable green certificates, accounting for 71.32%. The renewable energy electricity corresponding to the green certificates issued in November 2025 is 185 million, accounting for 87.72%. From January to December 2025, the National Energy Administration issued a total of 2.947 billion green certificates, of which 1.893 billion were tradable green certificates. In December 2025, there were 202 million national trading green certificates, including 22.75 million green electricity trading certificates. From January to December 2025, there were a total of 930 million national trading green certificates, of which 250 million were green electricity trading certificates. In December 2025, the average price of green certificate transactions for electricity production in 2024 was 1.12 yuan per certificate, and the average price of green certificate transactions for electricity production in 2025 was 5.15 yuan per certificate.
