Taobao and Tmall will launch an AI model for identifying fake images in after-sales service, in order to combat AI fraud and refund scams.
Recently, Taobao Tmall announced at the merchant service conference that it has "zero tolerance" for AI-generated fake images, and has launched a special AI fake image governance project. They will soon launch an AI fake image recognition model to provide merchants with one-click detection functionality. The model will be gradually applied to dispute judgments, refunds, appeals and other channels, with an identification accuracy rate during the training phase exceeding 95%. It is reported that the platform has already opened a feedback entry, where merchants can provide feedback on suspected fake images generated by AI, processed or modified using Photoshop in ongoing refunds through the Wangwang chat function. Once a determination is made, it will directly impact the judgment results.
