CNESA predicts that after experiencing rapid growth in the early stage, the new energy storage industry in China will enter a period of changing growth rates. The conservative and ideal annual compound growth rates from 2026 to 2030 are projected to be 20.7% and 25.5% respectively. In the conservative scenario, the cumulative installed capacity is expected to reach over 370 million kilowatts by 2030; in the ideal scenario, the cumulative installed capacity is expected to exceed 450 million kilowatts by 2030.
