On January 21st local time, NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun stated at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland that the development of AI requires "the largest infrastructure construction in human history" and will require trillions of dollars in new investments. He also mentioned that 2025 was the year with the highest global venture capital investment, with over $100 billion invested globally, with most of it going to AI native startups.
