With the recent stabilization of the situation in southern Yemen, the Yemeni government has begun to push for the redeployment of military forces, gradually relocating military bases out of the core area of Aden. "Jabal Adhikar" is one of the most important military bases in Aden, with its strategic location overlooking multiple important regions and its proximity to important facilities such as the presidential palace and international airport. On the 19th, this military base was handed over to local security units, and a handover ceremony was completed in the presence of military and political leaders as well as representatives from civil society organizations.
