Today, it was learned from the China Railway Beijing Bureau that with the implementation of the new train operation diagram nationwide starting from zero o'clock on the 26th, Beijing West Station will operate the Jing-Jin-Ji Circular High-Speed Rail for the first time, making travel for passengers in the Jing-Jin-Ji region more convenient. At the same time, after the schedule adjustment, high-speed trains will be operated for the first time between Beijing West Station and Yan'an, reducing the travel time from Beijing to Yan'an from the current fastest 10 hours and 31 minutes to 5 hours and 42 minutes. This schedule adjustment coincides with the 30th anniversary of the opening of Beijing West Station. Since 1996, Beijing West Station has sent over 1.96 billion passengers, with the number of daily train departures increasing from the initial 27 pairs to the current 193 pairs; and the annual passenger volume has increased from 8.26 million to 65.39 million.
