Vietnam begins accepting applications for cryptocurrency market licenses.

The Vietnamese government announced on January 20, local time, that it will start accepting applications for cryptocurrency market licenses from eligible companies. About 10 securities companies and banks have expressed interest and are preparing to provide cryptocurrency trading platforms after obtaining regulatory approval. The companies include SSI Securities, VIX Securities, MB Bank, Techcombank, and VPBank.
