Airwallex acquires licensed South Korean payment company Paynuri.

On January 21st, Airwallex Cloud Exchange announced that it has acquired the licensed payment company Paynuri Co. Ltd. in South Korea. Through this acquisition, Airwallex Cloud Exchange will obtain qualifications related to South Korea's payment gateway, prepaid electronic payment tools, and foreign exchange business. It is reported that this acquisition is an important strategic move for Airwallex Cloud Exchange after completing its latest Series G financing. Following this round of financing, the company's valuation has reached $8 billion, an increase of approximately 30% from the previous round of financing.
