The Silicon Industry Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association released its weekly review of polycrystalline silicon. According to statistics from Antaike, the transaction price range for N-type recycled polycrystalline silicon this week is between 50,000 to 63,000 yuan per ton, with an average transaction price of 59,200 yuan per ton, holding steady compared to the previous week. Despite some minor loosening of prices by some companies this week, the mainstream market transaction prices overall remain stable. According to production plans, several leading companies will stop or reduce production as planned in January, and it is expected that the monthly average production of polycrystalline silicon will decrease to around 80,000 tons in the first quarter. Although there has not been a substantial rebound in demand from end users, the significant contraction in supply is gradually leading to a weak balance in supply and demand.
