Optional new patents can more accurately determine the causes of robot failures.
According to the Qichacha app, recently, U-choice's patent for "a method, device, and terminal equipment for determining the cause of robot faults" has been released. The patent abstract on Qichacha shows that this application is applicable in the field of robot technology. The method includes: first, obtaining the target environment data and operational data of the robot before, during, and after the malfunction; then, generating the obstacle's operational trajectory based on the target environment data; determining the robot's real fault cause based on the obstacle's operational trajectory and the robot's posture. Compared to relying solely on log files for fault diagnosis, this application utilizes cross-validation and correlation analysis between the robot's operational data and environmental data to reconstruct the complete scene of events, providing fundamental and multidimensional advantages for a more accurate determination of the fault cause. Additionally, this application conducts an overall fault analysis from the perspectives of before, during, and after the fault occurrence, allowing for a more precise determination of the robot's fault cause.
