Shanghai: Accelerating the development of the new generation electronic information industry.

The General Office of the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality has issued a notice on "Several Measures to Support the Construction of the Source Area of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta." The notice mentioned accelerating the construction of innovation platforms and technology research and development centers around key links of the industrial chain. Key projects such as nurturing intelligent terminal products and key components manufacturing will be provided with funding support in stages, not exceeding 15% of the total investment or a maximum of 50 million yuan. Support will also be given to enterprises to increase investment in commercial cryptography applications, independent software and hardware product development, etc., with funding support not exceeding 30% of the total investment or a maximum of 10 million yuan.
