Guangzhou: The total retail sales of consumer goods in the first 11 months increased by 4.2% year on year, surpassing 1 trillion yuan.

The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics has released the economic situation of Guangzhou in the period of January to November 2025. The data shows that in the first 11 months of this year, the value added of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 1.3% year-on-year, with the cumulative production of new energy vehicles growing by 22.6% and the production of civilian drones growing by 41.1%. The total retail sales of social consumer goods increased by 4.2% year-on-year, exceeding one trillion yuan in total; the city's total passenger traffic volume reached 311 million person-times, a year-on-year increase of 1.1%.
