The Communist Party of Anhui Province has issued a proposal on formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, which includes the suggestion of a forward-looking layout for future industries. It advocates for the comprehensive implementation of the project to nurture and expand future industries, exploring diverse technological routes, typical application scenarios, feasible business models, market supervision rules, and promoting quantum technology, bio-manufacturing, hydrogen and nuclear fusion energy, brain-machine interfaces, embodied intelligence, the sixth generation of mobile communication, cutting-edge materials, new generation semiconductors, deep space exploration, life sciences, etc., as new economic growth points. It also calls for establishing mechanisms for increasing investment and risk sharing in future industries, deepening cooperation with national venture capital guidance funds, and guiding social capital to increase investment. It proposes setting up incubation bases, science and technology parks, and pilot zones for future industries in a phased manner, and striving to become a national pilot zone for future industries.
