The Communist Party of China Anhui Provincial Committee has issued a proposal on formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, which includes the suggestion to strategically plan for future industries. It emphasizes the need to extensively implement the cultivation and development of future industries, explore diverse technological routes, typical application scenarios, feasible business models, market regulatory rules, and promote quantum technology, biomanufacturing, hydrogen and nuclear fusion energy, brain-machine interfaces, embodied intelligence, sixth-generation mobile communications, cutting-edge materials, new generation semiconductors, deep space exploration, life sciences, and other sectors as new economic growth points. The proposal also calls for establishing mechanisms for increasing investment and risk sharing in future industries, deepening cooperation with national venture capital guidance funds, and encouraging greater investment from social capital. Furthermore, it suggests strategically developing future industry incubation bases, science and technology parks, and pilot zones, striving to create national leading pilot zones for future industries.
