Daily production reaches a 22-year high, with China's first deepwater oil field secondary development project fully operational.
Reporters learned from CNOOC that China's first deepwater oilfield, the Luhua Oilfield second development project, has been fully put into production, with daily crude oil production reaching 3900 tons, setting a new production capacity record and marking a significant breakthrough in China's deepwater complex oilfield development. Xie Xiulong, the director of the "Haiji II" platform of CNOOC Luhua Oilfield, stated that after the crude oil is preliminarily processed on the "Haiji II" platform, it is transported to the offshore oil and gas processing facility "Haikui I" 2.5 kilometers away for further processing and storage. Up to now, we have transported 25 shipments of crude oil to onshore refineries. The oilfield is now fully operational, and the development results have exceeded expectations, with daily production reaching a new high in our oilfield's 22-year history.
