There are over 3,700 artificial intelligence and robotics companies in Guangdong Province.

The opening ceremony of the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Conference and Guangdong Province Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Skills Competition was held in Guangzhou on the 13th. The "2025 Guangdong Province Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Development White Paper" and "AIR Pearl River Index Report" were released on site. The report shows that as of November 2025, there are over 3,700 artificial intelligence and robotics enterprises in Guangdong Province, with over 2,000 core artificial intelligence enterprises, over 350 national-level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises in artificial intelligence and robotics, and over 150 listed artificial intelligence and robotics enterprises. The report states that the artificial intelligence and robotics industry in Guangdong Province is in the top tier along with Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, ranking first in the country in terms of comprehensive ranking, enterprise strength, development potential, industry applications, and industry linkages. In terms of industry size, in 2024, the core artificial intelligence industry in Guangdong Province had a scale of 220 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of about 22%; the revenue of the intelligent robotics industry was 99.2 billion yuan.
