Jiangxi Highway Maintenance Institute independently developed the "ditch-cleaning robot" for use.
Recently, a cleaning robot called "Butterfly Qingyi" was put into use in the maintenance section of the Yichun Management Center of Jiangxi Province Traffic Investment Group, specifically designed to solve the weeding problem of butterfly-shaped drainage ditches on highways. This adaptive weeding machine, independently developed by the Anyuan Maintenance Station of Liushi Maintenance Station, has become a great helper for frontline maintenance operations with its outstanding features of "time-saving, labor-saving, safe, and efficient." Xiong Hui, the director of the Anyuan Maintenance Station, introduced that the "Butterfly Qingyi" robot has multiple core functions. The equipment is operated remotely, so maintenance personnel do not need to shoulder or push by hand, and smooth progress along the ditch can be controlled with a key, significantly reducing physical exertion. Its special weeding head can adjust angles flexibly like human hands, closely adhering to the curved ditch walls, cleaning up the slopes that were previously difficult to reach. The robot also achieves "dry sweeping integration": while cutting grass in front, the rear roller brush immediately sweeps the residue to the edge of the ditch for centralized stacking, avoiding the trouble of manual secondary cleaning.
