On the evening of December 5, Chang'an Automobile Finance Co., Ltd. issued a statement stating that two individuals recently contacted the company to report that they had received collection text messages in the name of "Chang'an Automobile Finance." After preliminary verification, it was confirmed that these collection text messages were sent by criminals impersonating the company, and there may be a situation of continuous mass sending to the general public. This behavior is suspected of being illegal. The statement further stated that as a licensed financial institution, the company strictly adheres to legal and regulatory collection practices and does not collect any funds from consumers through cash or any third-party bank account.
