The first commercial project in China that uses light to decompose water and produce hydrogen has been launched in Panzhihua.

On December 4th, the Panzhihua Multi-faceted Strontium Titanium Polysilicate Hydrogen Production Integrated Station Test Base Project and Panzhihua City Liquid Hydrogen Hydrogenation Station were put into operation simultaneously. The Panzhihua Multi-faceted Strontium Titanium Polysilicate Hydrogen Production Integrated Station Test Base Project is the first commercially operational light hydrogen production project in the country and can directly use solar energy to decompose water to obtain hydrogen gas. The commercial application of the "multi-faceted titanium strontium polysilicate light quantum hydrogen production oxygen thermal integration technology" used in this project marks a breakthrough for China in the field of green hydrogen production from the laboratory to the production line. The total investment of the first phase of this project is approximately 60 million yuan, covering an area of 33 acres, with an annual hydrogen production capacity of approximately 200 tons, a daily hydrogenation capacity of approximately 1000 kilograms, and an expected annual output value of 7 million yuan.
