Joint Declaration between the People's Republic of China and the French Republic on Cooperation in Addressing Global Climate and Environmental Challenges

China and France reaffirm their commitment to further effectively and continuously implement the 2019 "Beijing Initiative on Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Change between China and France," the 2024 "Joint Statement on Strengthening Cooperation on Biodiversity and Oceans between China and France: Kunming to Montreal to Nice," and the 2025 "Joint Statement on Climate Change between the People's Republic of China and the French Republic on the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement." China and France reaffirm their commitment to strengthening multilateralism and addressing global challenges, especially to implementing the fundamental legal basis and main framework of international cooperation for addressing global climate and environmental challenges, the "Rio Three Conventions," the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Agreement, the "Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework," and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
