Sports apparel company Fanatics launches a sports fan-driven prediction trading platform.

One of the world's largest sports apparel companies, Fanatics, announced on Wednesday that they are launching a prediction trading platform led by sports fans through a strategic partnership with Crypto.com. Similar to leading companies in the prediction trading field like Polymarket and Kalshi, Fanatics will allow users to trade contracts predicting the outcomes of various real-world events. According to the press release, the Fanatics prediction market will be launched in two phases. The first phase officially started on the 3rd and covers event contracts in sports, finance, economy, and politics. The second phase is expected to launch early next year, expanding the platform's business to event contracts in areas such as cryptocurrencies, stocks, IPOs, climate, popular culture, technology and artificial intelligence, film and music, among others.
