Chinalco Group: West Mangdou Project's first ship loaded with 200,000 tons of iron ore successfully shipped.

According to news from the Chinalco Group, at 1:30 am on December 3rd Beijing time, in the port of Marampa in Guinea, a bulk carrier loaded with 200,000 tons of high-grade iron ore slowly departed from the port and set sail towards China. The first shipment of iron ore from the Simandou project was successfully sent out. The Simandou project is divided into north and south blocks, with the southern block being jointly developed by Chinalco and Rio Tinto, and the northern block being jointly developed by Baowu and Win-Win Alliance. Following a strategy of "step-by-step implementation and gradual production", the Simandou project will gradually reach a total production capacity of 120 million tons per year for the north and south blocks combined.
