Upon investigation, it was found that Song Shusheng has lost his ideal and belief, betrayed his initial mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, deliberately opposed organizational review; he disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulations, accepted banquets that could affect the fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles, did not report personal matters as required, did not truthfully explain issues in response to organizational inquiries, seriously undermined the party's personnel selection system, sought benefits for others and accepted money in the recruitment of staff, selection and appointment of cadres, etc.; he compromised his integrity, openly accepted gifts; abused power, illegally intervened in the allocation of public financial funds; engaged in power-money exchanges, used his position to benefit others in staff recruitment, cadre selection and appointment, project contracting, fund allocation, etc., and illegally accepted large sums of money and property.
