Huatai International provides guarantees for the $0.68 billion medium-term notes issued by Huatai International Finance.

Huatai (06886) announced that its overseas wholly-owned subsidiary, Huatai International Financial Holdings Limited (Huatai International), established an offshore medium-term note program (MTN program) on October 27, 2020 with a maximum principal amount of USD 3 billion (or equivalent in other currencies). This MTN program is guaranteed by Huatai International (current guarantee). On September 9, 2025, Huatai International Finance issued two medium-term notes under the MTN program, with respective issuance amounts of USD 0.25 billion and USD 0.43 billion. Based on the exchange rate of USD to CNY on August 29, 2025 (1 USD = 7.1030 CNY), the total guarantee amount is RMB 483 million.
