Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates across the board are decreasing. The one-month interbank interest rate has dropped by 9 basis points to 0.66613%.
On May 22nd, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates all decreased. Among them, the one-month interbank rate related to mortgage loans dropped by 9 basis points to 0.66613%, the lowest since June 21, 2022, falling for five consecutive days. The three-month interbank rate reflecting banks' funding costs also dropped to 1.70976%, the lowest since July 13, 2022.
On May 22, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates fell across the board, with the interest rate related to mortgage loans dropping by 9 basis points to 0.66613%, the lowest since June 21, 2022, and falling for five consecutive days. The three-month interbank interest rate, which reflects the cost of bank funds, also fell to 1.70976%, the lowest since July 13, 2022.
The overnight interest rate fell to 0.02833%, the six-month rate dropped to 2.57667%, the lowest since May 14, and the one-year interest rate reached a weekly low of 3.18071%.
