American Time magazine released the list of "Global Top 100 Most Influential People of 2025" on April 16th.
On April 16th, the American magazine "Time" released the list of "Global Top 100 Most Influential People in 2025". Charles Li, the CEO of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388), made it to the list in the "Titans" category, alongside Facebook's parent company Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and AMD CEO Lisa Su. Charles Li is the only representative from Hong Kong on the list. Charles Li took office as CEO of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange last March. "Time" pointed out that the Hong Kong Stock Exchange was facing challenges at that time, with its ranking in global new stock fundraising falling to 10th place in the first half of last year. She pushed for corporate governance reform, which had significant effects by the end of the year. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange's new stock fundraising returned to 4th place, and the number of companies with single-gender boards dropped from 800 to 85, accounting for only 3%.
