On April 17, Meng Yang, a member of the Party group of the State Administration for Market Regulation and Deputy Director, chaired the 2025 third enterprise fair competition symposium, focusing on the theme of "rectifying chaotic charges involving enterprises and enhancing the vitality of enterprise development." He had in-depth exchanges with the leaders of 7 enterprises such as China Ocean Shipping, discussing the problems and difficulties encountered by the enterprises and listening to their opinions and suggestions. Meng Yang stated that the Administration will deepen the comprehensive rectification of enterprise-related charges, focusing on key areas such as fees on online platforms, administrative intermediary fees for approval, fees from industry associations, transportation and logistics fees, and fees for water, electricity, gas, and heating. The Administration will comprehensively investigate problem clues, increase supervision and law enforcement efforts, strictly investigate and penalize behavior involving chaotic charges relating to enterprises, and focus on exposing typical cases. Relevant leaders of the Administration responded specifically. Meng Yang briefly introduced the work done by the State Administration for Market Regulation in recent years to strengthen supervision of charges involving enterprises, reduce the burden on enterprises, and stimulate market vitality. He stated that the Administration will thoroughly implement the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, deepen the comprehensive rectification of charges involving enterprises, focusing on key areas such as fees on online platforms, administrative intermediary fees for approval, fees from industry associations, transportation and logistics fees, and fees for water, electricity, gas, and heating. The Administration will comprehensively investigate problem clues, increase supervision and law enforcement efforts, strictly investigate and penalize behavior involving chaotic charges relating to enterprises, and focus on exposing typical cases. It will strengthen monitoring and early warning of charges involving enterprises, source control, and joint punishment, aiming to discover and address issues at an early stage. The Administration will deepen the reform of supervision of charges involving enterprises, strengthen legal supervision, credit supervision, and intelligent supervision, and establish effective long-term supervision mechanisms for charges involving enterprises. It is hoped that enterprises will enhance their confidence in development, operate in compliance with the law, strengthen themselves, and make greater contributions to high-quality economic development.
