General Administration of Sport of China: China Sporting Goods Industry Federation initiates global market research action to build a fast channel for sports goods to reach Southeast Asian buyers.

The State Sports Administration has released the fourth in a series of reports on the development of sports private enterprises, entitled "Industry Associations Build Platforms to Promote Chinese Manufacturing Going Global". In the report, a representative of the Sports Equipment Industry Association stated that, in line with current market trends, the association is promoting industry complementarity and strengthening friendly economic and trade exchanges through initiatives such as organizing overseas exhibitions and conducting visits, with the aim of creating a fast lane for Chinese sports equipment enterprises, especially private ones, to reach out accurately to countries in Southeast Asia and beyond, and connect with professional overseas buyers. To further help enterprises explore new markets and spaces, the China Sporting Goods Industry Association recently formed an inspection team, leading representatives from nine private enterprises in fitness equipment, sports flooring, and the fashionable sports industry to Indonesia and Vietnam. They engaged in exchanges with local government departments, chambers of commerce, distributors, industrial parks, sports clubs, and others to understand the current situation and development trends of the sports equipment market, and to explore the collaboration potential in technology, products, and market between the two sides. It was found through industry research that in recent years, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other Southeast Asian countries have become important targets for the Chinese sports equipment industry and enterprises to expand overseas markets due to their relatively large population base, young sports consumer groups, and growing demand for sports consumption. The report goes on to discuss the efforts of the association to facilitate interactions and partnerships between Chinese and Southeast Asian sports industry players and how the Chinese sports manufacturing industry is starting to gain recognition in the global marketplace thanks to favorable trade policies. The association is focusing on promoting Chinese manufacturing internationally and fostering international cooperation. The report highlights the essential role played by industry associations in promoting Chinese manufacturing globally and enabling collaboration between Chinese sports equipment manufacturers and buyers in Southeast Asia and other regions.The new changes and patterns brought to the foreign trade market by investment and trade rules.
