Barclays banker will take over as Global Head of ECM at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft (DB.US)

According to media reports, informed sources revealed that Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft (DB.US) has hired senior investment banker Tom Swerling from Barclays PLC Sponsored ADR (BCS.US) as the Global Head of Equity Capital Markets (ECM), leading its global ECM team. Swerling's resume shows that he has been working at Barclays PLC Sponsored ADR since the end of 2011, and started leading the global ECM business in April 2023. His career began at Lehman Brothers in 2001 and he moved to Nomura Holdings, Inc. Sponsored ADR in 2008. Throughout his career, Swerling has been involved in important projects such as the $5.2 billion IPO of British chip design company Arm (ARM.US) on Nasdaq, the 2.3 billion IPO of CVC Capital Partners in Europe, the 6.8 billion financing for National Grid in the UK, and the $4.5 billion convertible bond project for Alibaba Group Holding Limited Sponsored ADR (BABA.US).
