The silicon industry branch issued a document stating that the price of polycrystalline silicon remained stable this week. The transaction price range for n-type recycled materials was 39,000-46,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 41,700 yuan/ton. The transaction price range for n-type granular silicon was 38,000-41,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 39,000 yuan/ton, and the transaction price range for p-type polycrystalline silicon was 32,000-36,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 34,000 yuan/ton. This week, there were fewer transactions of polycrystalline silicon by enterprises, and most orders have not yet been finalized. This week, there were 4 companies that had transactions of n-type polycrystalline silicon. According to feedback from companies, the downstream wait-and-see attitude is significant, with low purchasing enthusiasm and a significant willingness to reduce silicon material inventory. Due to the impact of the industry's 400,000 ton inventory, some companies are facing pressure to increase shipments and strong motivation from downstream to lower prices. Based on the current situation, there have been no large-scale price adjustment transactions yet, and the actual transaction prices need further confirmation after the holidays. The earthquake in Myanmar on March 28 has caused certain impacts on the single crystal rod production capacity in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces in China, leading to delays in delivery of some polycrystalline silicon orders and expectations of slowed destocking in April. As of now, all polycrystalline silicon enterprises in China are basically operating at reduced loads, and there are no new plans for shutdowns or maintenance. According to the production scheduling of polycrystalline silicon companies in April, it is expected that there will be a small amount of new production capacity released, which will have a relatively small impact on the total output, with the overall production forecasted to be around 100,000 tons.
