On Tuesday, Dada (DADA.US) rose more than 3%, to $1.92. In terms of news, Dada announced today that they have signed an agreement and merger plan with their parent company JD Sunflower Investment Limited and its wholly-owned subsidiary JD Sunflower Merger Sub Limited. Merger Sub will be merged into Dada, which will become the surviving company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the parent company. The parent company is fully owned by JD.com, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A. Once the merger is completed, Dada's ADS will be canceled. The Dada board special committee unanimously approved the transaction, with the completion expected in the second quarter of 2025.
