According to reports, Boeing Company (BA.US) is reducing the production of 737 MAX aircraft from 38 aircraft per month to 31 aircraft per month, primarily due to delays in wing manufacturing.
Reportedly, Boeing Company's Renton factory in Washington briefly achieved a production rate of 38 aircraft in February, but wing production faced challenges. Therefore, the aircraft manufacturer was forced to reduce production to ensure quality and address these production issues.
Boeing Company denied claims that production had reached 38 aircraft in a statement, stating that the project did not reduce production rates.
As of the time of writing, Boeing Company's stock had fallen 0.44% in pre-market trading.
