On September 10th, after the market closed in the Eastern Time Zone, Rubrik announced its performance for the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year: Subscription revenue was $297 million, an increase of 55% from the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year which was $191.3 million. Total revenue was $309.9 million, a 51% increase from the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year which was $205 million. The GAAP gross margin was 79.5%, compared to 73.1% in the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year. This includes $4.9 million in stock-based compensation expenses, while in the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year this expense was $7 million. The non-GAAP gross margin was 81.6%, compared to 77.0% in the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year.
