According to Tianjin Daily, on September 9, Chen Min'er, Party Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Committee, Zhang Gong, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, held talks with Hou Qijun, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Petrochemical Corporation. Chen Min'er and Zhang Gong stated that looking towards the "14th Five-Year Plan", they hope that Sinopec will expand practical cooperation with Tianjin, identify new areas of cooperation, develop more projects and businesses in Tianjin, and generate new growth from existing assets to promote the development of industries and clusters.
