Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd. (600021.SH) terminates purchase of a 66.4% stake in KE Company.

China Fortune Financial News APP reports that Shanghai Electric Power (600021.SH) has announced that previously, the company planned to acquire 183.36 billion shares of K-ELECTRIC LIMITED (referred to as "KE Company") held by KES POWER LTD. (referred to as "KES Energy Company") in cash, accounting for 66.40% of KE Company's total issued share capital. The total payment will be $1.77 billion, and a total reward of not more than $27 million will be given to the trading party or its designated party according to the operating conditions of the target company.
