Spain announces ban on two Israeli ministers from entering the country.

The Spanish government announced on the 9th that it will prohibit the entry of Israeli Minister of Public Security Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich in response to Israel's military actions in the Gaza Strip and the humanitarian impact on Palestinian civilians. Spanish Foreign Minister Alvarez stated after a cabinet meeting that this is part of the sanction measures proposed by Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez on Monday, aimed at denying entry to "anyone involved in genocide, human rights violations, and war crimes in Spain and the European Union".
