The official website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange shows that Huo Ruirong, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, has taken on the new position of Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Public records show that before taking on the role at the CSRC, Huo Ruirong has also served as Deputy Director of the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau, Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau, General Manager of the China Futures Market Surveillance Center, and General Manager of the China Financial Futures Exchange.
