Eastern villages in the Congo have been attacked, resulting in around 80 people dead.
According to Xinhua News Agency, local officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo confirmed on the 9th that the Lubero area of North Kivu Province in the eastern part of the country was attacked by the Ugandan anti-government militia "Democratic Alliance Army" on the night of the 8th, resulting in approximately 80 deaths. Lubero area administrator Alan Kiweva confirmed to Xinhua News Agency reporters that the attack occurred in the village of Entoyo in the Lubero area, resulting in about 80 deaths, with some villagers missing and the death toll may further rise.
