The current trend index of business revenue for small and medium-sized enterprises in Hong Kong rose to 42.3, indicating a slight improvement in the business environment.

According to the Zhitsu Finance app, on September 9th, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Census and Statistics Department released the results of the monthly survey on the business conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in August 2025. The current trend index of SME business revenue increased slightly from 42.1 in July 2025 in the contraction zone to 42.3 in August 2025, while the future one-month (September 2025) business revenue outlook trend index is 45.7.
