Han Yuexian, former deputy prosecutor general of Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate, has been prosecuted.

Recently, the case of Han Yuexian, former deputy chief prosecutor of Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate, suspected of bribery and corruption, has been investigated and concluded by the Yunnan Provincial Supervision Commission, and transferred to the procuratorial organ for examination and prosecution. Designated jurisdiction by the Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate, the Baoshan City People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution to the Baoshan Intermediate People's Court in accordance with the law. The case is still under further investigation. During the examination and prosecution stage, the procuratorial organ informed the defendant Han Yuexian of his litigation rights according to law, questioned the defendant according to law, and listened to the opinions of the defense counsel. The Baoshan City People's Procuratorate accuses the defendant Han Yuexian of using his positions such as Chief Prosecutor of Chuxiong State People's Procuratorate, Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau of Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate, and Deputy Chief Prosecutor to provide assistance to others in project contracting, financing, and case handling, illegally accepting a particularly huge amount of money from others; as a judicial officer, he abused his power, knowingly shielding others with criminal facts from criminal liability, and should be held criminally responsible for bribery and corruption.
