Berlin experienced a large-scale power outage.
This morning, a large-scale power outage occurred in the southern part of the German capital Berlin, affecting nearly 50,000 residents and businesses. Trams were suspended and traffic lights were out of order. The power department stated that the outage was caused by a fire on a high-voltage power line pole, and preliminary investigations by the police suggest that arson may have been intentional.
