General Administration of Sport of China: Continuously promote the economic development of sports events from five aspects.

Yang Xuedong, Director of the Sports Economy Department of the General Administration of Sports, introduced that in recent years, sports events have become a point of consumption growth. Taking Shandong Province as an example, in the first half of this year, the province held 739 sports events with more than 500 participants, bringing direct economic benefits of 46 billion yuan and indirect economic benefits of 113 billion yuan. We are continuously promoting the development of the sports event economy from five aspects. First, strengthen policy research. Second, promote the organization of sports events. Third, improve the spectator experience. Fourth, promote the integrated development of sports events. Fifth, maintain the red line of safety management of sports events.
