The abstract indicates that this application provides a satellite communication method, system, and electronic device to expand the application scenarios of satellite communication on portable electronic devices. In this method, a distributed communication network based on multiple electronic devices is established, which can enable the satellite communication capability of the second electronic device to be registered to the first electronic device. This can also be understood as the satellite communication capability of the second electronic device serving as virtualized hardware for the first electronic device. Therefore, by accessing the satellite communication capability of the second electronic device, the first electronic device can achieve the same satellite communication capability as the second electronic device, and establish a satellite link between the first electronic device and the satellite in more application scenarios, thereby expanding the satellite communication capability of the first electronic device.
