The construction of the Aerospace Liquid Propulsion Test Center has been completed, and the Long March 2 rocket is scheduled to make its first flight in the fourth quarter of this year.
On September 9th, the inauguration ceremony of the Zhongke Aerospace Liquid Propulsion System Test Center and the test capability conference were held in Conghua District, Guangzhou. This marks the official completion of China's first globally open commercial aerospace propulsion system testing platform. Zhongke Aerospace stated that the test center, as a key ground verification platform for the research and development of medium-to-large liquid rocket engines and reusable technology in China, can provide full-process test support for rocket propulsion systems from development to mass production. In the future, it will be open for global research institutions, companies, and universities to share. Image source: interviewed company provided.
