ASM will invest 1.3 billion euros in Mistral AI to become its largest shareholder.

According to a statement, ASML Holdings will invest 1.3 billion euros in Mistral AI's Series C financing round, holding approximately 11% of Mistral AI's shares after full dilution. ASML and Mistral AI also announced the establishment of a strategic partnership, where they will explore the use of artificial intelligence models in ASML's full range of products and in research and operations processes based on a long-term cooperation agreement. As part of the investment, ASML will obtain a seat on Mistral's strategic committee, with ASML's Chief Financial Officer Roger Dassen representing the company in addition to fulfilling his current responsibilities.
