On September 9, the China Meteorological Administration held a press conference to release information on the climate trend forecast and meteorological service tips for the second half of September. Which areas are currently experiencing high temperatures? How long is it expected to last? During the press conference, a reporter from Yicai asked Deputy Director of the National Meteorological Center Huang Zhuo about this. Huang Zhuo stated that the high temperature process since June 30 is still ongoing, and has now lasted for 71 days. It is predicted that before September 17, there will be 3 to 5 days of high temperatures in the eastern part of Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, and the northern part of South China. After September 17, the subtropical high will weaken, cold air will move southward in the northern regions, and the high temperatures in the southern regions will gradually come to an end.
