American workers' confidence in finding a new job after unemployment has dropped to a record low.
According to the latest survey published by the New York Federal Reserve Bank on Monday, American workers' confidence in finding a new job after losing their current job has reached a record low. The probability of finding a new job in the next three months has decreased by 5.8 percentage points to 44.9%, the lowest level since the Federal Reserve began surveying households on this issue in 2013. This decline is widespread across various age, income, and education groups, but is most pronounced in the group of people with a high school education.
