The National Medical Products Administration publicly solicits opinions on the "Guidelines for Compliance in the Online Retail of Prescription Drugs".
In order to implement the "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Drug Online Sales" and further enhance the compliance awareness and capabilities of relevant parties in drug online sales, standardize the online retailing of prescription drugs, the National Medical Products Administration has organized the drafting of the "Guidelines for Compliance in the Online Retailing of Prescription Drugs" and is now seeking public opinions. Among them, it is proposed that enterprises should fulfill their main responsibility for drug safety in accordance with the law, continuously improve their drug quality and safety management system and compliance management system. Enterprises should take effective quality control measures in the procurement, storage, sales, and transportation of drugs to ensure that the sources of the drugs sold are legal and the flow process is traceable. Drug online retail companies should ensure that the displayed drug information is true, accurate, and legal, with reference to the drug instructions approved by the State Council's drug supervision and administration department, and should not contain any false information.
