According to the Zhutong Finance APP, due to weak job growth in the United States in August, the unemployment rate has risen to the highest level since 2021, Standard Chartered Bank currently predicts that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates by 50 basis points next week. Standard Chartered Bank strategists John Davies and Steve Englander said, "We believe that the August labor market data has opened the door for the Fed to cut interest rates by 50 basis points in September as they try to catch up, just like this time last year." Previously, they expected a rate cut of 25 basis points.
