Typhoon "Taba" is expected to cause flooding above the warning level in some rivers in Guangdong and Guangxi regions.
Reporters learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that, affected by Typhoon "Taba", it is expected that from September 8th to 10th, there will be heavy to torrential rains in most parts of Guangdong, most parts of Guangxi, the northern part of Hainan, the southern part of Guizhou, the southeastern part of Yunnan, etc. Among them, some parts of western Guangdong, central-southern Guangxi, and other areas will experience heavy rainfall; major rivers such as the West River and its tributaries in Guangdong, the main streams of the Xijiang River in Guangxi and its tributaries Yujiang and the rivers along the coastal areas of southern Guangxi, the Nandu River in Hainan, the Beipan River in Guizhou, and the Nanpan River in Yunnan will experience obvious rising water levels, and some small and medium-sized rivers within the heavy rainfall zone may experience flooding above the warning level.
